About Us

About ParentingCoach.ca:

ParentingCoach.ca is a project dedicated to advocate for effective parenting with a special focus on Internet era's effect on families and youth. Currently, this project is being sponsored by its Board of Founders and is supported by other special boards and affiliated organizations.

Our Mission:

To provide general coaching for parents and youth with high emphasis on how to become more productive and efficient in using the Internet era resources to their maximum potential and how to mitigate the Internet Era's harmful possibilities.

Our Goals:

Education: Book review on parenting guidance + Q & A with an expert

Our complimentary seminars provide you with a summary of leading books on parental guidance followed by a Q & A session with an expert.

Skill Building: workshops for youth, parents, or mix

Our workshops provide youth and parents with hands-on skills on a variety of topics.

Mental Health Awareness: educational material & clips for youth

Our material / clips will promote "rational thinking skills in Internet era" among youth and parents.

Mental Health Service Referrals: connecting parents and youth with life coaches or psychotherapists

We will connect parents and youth with coaching and psychotherapy providers.

Our Boards and Affiliates

ParentingCoach.ca consists of Board of Founders, Board of Advisors, Parents Board, the Youth Board and Affiliated Organizations. These boards and affiliates are set up to help ParentingCoach.ca with identifying the community needs and producing richer material for our families.

For example, if we are going to produce material on "How to use your credit card responsibly as a teen?",  we will be interested in diverse ideas from different angles such as parents, youth, a therapists, a financial adviser, a lawyer, a teacher, and affiliated relevant organizations.

Thanks to many available internet technologies, most of the work are done in virtual environments such as Twitter. This way, we eliminate the need for frequent meetings and save our member's time. When a topic is chosen for development, it is posted for brainstorming and board members & affiliated organizations are invited to share their ideas (if any) within a certain time frame on Twitter. The information collected will be included in the process and will result in a richer content for our families and youth.

Board of Founders

Hossein Ghadaki

Picture

Hossein Ghadaki is a parent who has sought solutions for Internet era lifestyle's family challenges and has sponsored this project for that purpose.

It is no secret by now that the internet has caused a monolithic shift in our lifestyles and the world in which we live.  In the pursuit of happiness, prosperity and comfort its effects are sharply felt.  For those who realize the emerging opportunities, it is a resourceful era.

These changes in our lifestyle are also felt in our family life. While families and youth enjoy this era's resources, some negative effects are being experienced. Issues such as screen addiction, excessive social networking, lack of parental control on the amount and quality of information our kids receive are real and worrisome.

Our coaching is designed to supply parents with the secrets of how to become more knowledgeable, productive and efficient in helping their children tackle internet era challenges.

Please feel free to contact me for a complimentary discussion and/or attend one of our complimentary seminars.
